Frank Francone Duo
We are happy to introduce the blues part of our lineup. This year, the Italian Fusion Festival presents the Frank Francone Duo.
Frank Francone is an electric and acoustic guitarist, singer, and composer of Blues, Rock, and Experimental Music. In his career, Frank played with several Bands and Artists in Italy, France, and Ireland, such as Karl Potter from New Jersey (R.I.P.), the soul/blues singer Cheryl Porter from New York, and, here in Ireland, with the Bluesman Dermot Byrne, the Blues artist Don Baker, and the Jim Finn Blues Band from Australia. He also collaborated on some project documentaries, composed and recorded soundtracks, and performed in some independent theatre performances.
Andy Christ is an electric and acoustic bass player, particularly in Rock, Blues, and Bluegrass. He is the official bass player with the Irish bluegrass band “The Whistle“. With “The Whistle”, he performs in several venues and festivals in Ireland and abroad, particularly in North Italy, where they are particularly welcome. He also performs live and in the studio as a session musician with different Artists, with Frank Francone in a duo and his electric trio.
