Festival Lineup 2024 in 8 Videos

One week after the unforgettable Italian Fusion Festival 2024 – Aperol Spritz & Duets, we’re excited to share some of the most captivating moments from this sold-out event.

We’re thrilled to present two videos from each of the four duos that mesmerized us with their unique sounds: Cosmik Debris, Frank Francone Duo,  Jukedom and Julyo & Dario Rodighiero. Please note that the Duo Ramelli—Savigli videos are not included, as they performed exclusive previews of tracks from their upcoming album, which will be released in a few months. Julyo & Dario Rodighiero

We are happy to introduce the instrumental part of our lineup. This year, the Italian Fusion Festival presents Julyo & Dario Rodighiero.

Julyo is an award-winning, multi-platinum producer and guitarist and bass player. He studied performance and music production at Berklee College of Music and was mentored by author and educator Charlie Banacos and guitarist Mick Goodrick. He has toured and performed with Kino, Michael Brecker, Paulo Bragança, Cindy Blackman, Take That, Photosonic Orchestra, and Dumb Type Collective.

A Milan-born, Dublin-dwelling improviser, pianist, keyboardist and candidate for Grammy nomination, composer Dario Rodighiero is a versatile musician. He left Italy in 2014 to pursue his music career in Dublin, where he performs in live shows, regularly collaborates with various artists, and composes soundtracks and scores for films and TV shows.

We are happy to introduce the Jazz / Funk part of our lineup. This year, the Italian Fusion Festival presents Julyo featuring Dario Rodighiero and Conor Ray.

Julyo is a Recording Academy voting member, Award-winner, multi-platinum producer, guitar and bass player. He has previously toured and performed with Kino, Michael Brecker, Paulo Bragança, B.B. King, Cindy Blackman, Take That, Photosonic Orchestra, Kino and Dumb Type Collective. Julyo will perform at the Italian Fusion Festival 2023 with film scoring composer and Recording Academy voting member Dario Rodighiero and Irish drummer/percussionist Jason McNamara.

Dario Rodighiero, a multifaceted artist renowned as a pianist, keyboardist, and film composer, is a figure whose musical journey is as diverse as it is captivating. Resident in Dublin for the past 9 years, he has an innate creative spirit, having masterfully woven classical and contemporary elements into his compositions, earning acclaim and admiration in the process. He recently became a member of the Recording Academy, for the Grammy Awards®.

We are happy to introduce the Italian Jazz part of our lineup. This year the Italian Fusion Festival presents Giulio “Julyo” D’agostino & Dario Rodighiero.

Giulio “Julyo” D’agostino (born in Genoa, Italy) is a guitarist, mandolin player, producer and bass player of Italian origin who has several International Awards for his film scoring work. Julyo has worked and performed with Armando Corsi (Paco de Lucia, Ivano Fossati), Mark Mangold (Cher, Michael Bolton), Mike Mangini (Steve Vai, Extreme), Keith Patchel (Johnny Thunders, Television), Michael Maccini (Simple Minds) and Laurence Gartel (Andy Wharol, Coca Cola).

He left Italy in 2014 to pursue his music career in Dublin, where he performs in live shows, regularly collaborates with a wide range of artists, and composes soundtracks and scores for films. After moving to Dublin in 2014, Dario started his own musical project by founding Miss Phoenix and the Jaffa Cakes a trio that makes retro swing versions of modern pop songs. He is also a keyboard player in two other Dublin-based bands. He arranged, recorded and performed several singles in London for Ciara Donnelly, talented Irish singer and songwriter. Passionate about films, Dario found his true vocation when he started composing film scores. He collaborated with the Irish director Cathal Feeney as well as other film producers and directors in Ireland. Recently, several of the movies he scored have been selected for film festivals and competitions.
